Li. The dimensions inserted against the sections are millimetres
 and English feet and inches. The weights (G)
kilogrammes per lineal metre and pounds per lineal
foot based on mild steel with a specific weight of
7,85.

Q - Area in square centimetres
W=- Moment of resistance = cm
T - Moment of inertia ss cm

2. The weights given are only approximate with an
allowance of 6°, more or less. In the case of large
orders for one and the same section a smaller margin
can be agreed to.

3. The dimensions named in this section book will be
achered to as closely as possible, but small deviations
caused through long use of the rolls cannot be admitted
 as a basis for claims.

Angle and quadrant sections can only be delivered
square on the outside 1op edge of the flange in the
thicknesses given in the section book. In the case of
greater thicknesses the edge curves inwards and the
flange becomes proportionately wider.

5. The lengths of joist, channel and zores sections are
adhered to with a margin of 50 m/m more or less.
Should a greater degree of accuracy in cutting to
length be required, „exact lenghts“ musst be ordered,
in which case a margin of 10 mm more or less is
required; or, in the case of fraised bars, an allowance
of 5 mm more or less only. Greater accuracy, especially
 in the case of long lengths, cannot be guaranleed
 on account of variation in the measuring instruments
 used.
